Plastictecnic was incorporated in Malaysia under the Corporate Act 1965. For consumer & industrial packaging, “Tecnic” was established since 1976.
Incepted in 1977 as a family owned business, the company started off in Petaling Jaya with only a few injection moulding machines manufacturing plastic premium products ie – promotional gift items such as containers, cups & tumblers.
For household plastic ware products - "Tecnicware" was used since 1979.
The company purchased a 2.6 acre piece of land and relocated its premises to Bandar Baru Bangi Estate.
Our Triple Lock patent for our industrial & consumer packaging pails were filed by the inventors of Mr. Glenn N.Tyler and Mr. Prajak Jiradejnunt on 13th October 1994.
STS Tecnic Berhad goes public listed on Bursa Malaysia in April 1995.
Our Nilai factory was built to help meet the ever increasing demand of the Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) products. We were also awarded “The Most Preferred Supplier” by Unilever.
We got the ISO 9001: 2000 Certification
We were awarded “The Best Vendor Award” from Cadbury.
Cadbury awarded us “The Best Vendor Award” for the 2nd year in the row.
We acquired a land size of 218,000 sq ft just adjacent to our current Nilai factory to cater for the up and coming new projects and future expansion plans.
We are located at Lot 1, Jalan P/2A Kawasan Perusahaan Pkt 1, Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor which covers an approximately 105,831 square feet, with a built up area of approximately 89300 square feet.
